Dine Out Vancouver 2022 5️⃣ Fanny Bay Finally able to dine in at @fannybayoysters. Went twice in the past but both were at least an hour wait. I guess third times the charm! Anyways, Fanny Bay Oysters, as the name implies, focuses on different kinds of Oysters from all over the country and even down south in the Washington State area. They also carry multiple seafood such as sea urchin, crabs, scallops and fish such as tuna. •TUNA TARTARE •SCALLOP AND FRISEE SALAD Tuna tartare was amazing. The soft contrast of tuna and avocado paired with that crunchy texture from the fried Wonton chips is Devine. The salad was nothing more than a basic salad but the scallops were perfectly cooked. •CIOPPINO •STEELHEAD •PRAWN PAPARDELLE •SCALLOPS AND PORK BELLY Cioppino is pretty much a fish stew and this one was loaded with Mussels, clams, Prawns, scallops and topped with a perfectly pan roasted Ling Cod all in a tomato-pepper and fennel sauce. It also comes with toasted baguettes to soak up all that delicious "gravy". The other seafood dishes were beautifully executed as well. •APPLE PIE •FANNY BAY "SMORES" BAR Had a hard time deciding on which dessert to get. Went for the apple pie and it came out fresh from the oven and topped with vanilla ice cream. This was warm and comforting! As for the smores bar, it was rich and decadent. A nice glass of milk would've elevated both dessert dishes. Would definitely be back to try their dinner and happy hour menu. Already got my eyes on their grilled Oysters and Umami Bomb! If you guys love Oysters and seafood, definitely check this place out! Guaranteed yall won't be disappointed!
