A few stills from the ballet scene of the latest episode of @handmaidsonhulu One thing I loved about this scene was the way that it presented ballet and the performing arts as a source of respite for the characters in the show. As a performer my goal most often in performance is to suspend time...To assist the audience to a place that will release them from whatever they are experiencing in their life. To be in the present moment! I think that is the most beautiful part of ballet and live performance art.
