Time accelerates in the fall- the chill intensifies as we begin to move at increased velocity, like sticking your head out of a moving car’s window. The wind licks our faces, and no matter how fast we go we can’t quite catch up to that goal post ahead. It is an inevitability of our industry, but it does make those stolen moments with family all the more sweet.
