Creating works of self-portraiture, she combines themes of myth and legend with personal identity. Ahuja is the recipient of a 2018 Guggenheim fellowship. Her work has been exhibited in and collected by the Brooklyn Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Studio Museum in Harlem, Saatchi Gallery, and other institutions.
