"In 2009, I set-up my easel on the corner of 89th and 5th to paint Frank Lloyd Wright’s treasure—The Guggenheim. Three days later, it became my first sale as a professional, self-represented artist. A year later, I wanted to paint ’The Gugg’ again... but that felt hollow. Unless...I committed to something more. So I set-out to create a 30”x30” Guggenheim painting, each summer, for 20-years. 'Panton Guggenheim' marks the 14th painting (and year) in the series. Who knows? Perhaps all 20 will show in the Guggenheim one day..."
