Works showcased belonged to artists from all over the world along with local ones of course, inspired by a diverse range of topics. 🖤 #karachibiennale2022 used some of the most iconic cultural sites that Karachi has to offer and I couldn’t be happier getting to explore and discover more about my home city. Saddar is truly a history geeks dream come true where the past and the present collide in the most interesting ways. 🖤 Each artist used different mediums to express themselves ranging from interactive displays, AR, VR, sounds, lighting, mirrors, projections, scents, music, live video, etc. Immersive is an understatement here, I also loved how each display made use of their location/environment to bring the vision to life.
