My beautiful Mom passed away yesterday morning after a long battle with MS. My Dad passed a few months ago and I still don’t know how to process it. I always knew the day would come that they’d both be gone but I never thought it would be so soon or so close together. They were both hilarious, fun, creative, and truly unique people who were amazing parents. I’m eternally grateful for every moment we had and every lesson was able to learn from them, both in success and failure. In the times they were consciously being “parents” and the times I would just observe them being humans. They had flaws, like we all do...but the highs and lows we had, as a family, made them REAL, and tangible people to me. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without them Mom, Dad, thank you for being you. I will miss you more than you can imagine.
