2024 motto: Just keep going 😅✨❤️‍🔥 A little slide of my fav moments. 2024 had beautiful moments, some really shit ones, some lingering health ish and some real heartbreak disappointments from people I thought would be around forever ❤️‍🔥💔🫶 I never used to share private things or heartbreaks here but I feel compelled to share and to thank people that came before me 🙏🏻 Because over the last few years, it is people sharing the not so pretty stuff on the internet that has helped me to feel more understood and not so alone, in some of the heavier things that have come my way. And so now I will continue to do the same 🫶 Things I learned: - I can survive anything if I keep going. Just put one messy foot in front of the other. - When you actively heal and change yourself, not only will people fall away they might react to you in painful and explosive ways - If you try communicate and repair and someone chooses to try shame you and or superiority, just leave. That is their own battle and they’re not interested. - In other circumstances, say exactly what you think, what you mean and don’t leave a crumb. - We are way more brainwashed by the powers that be than my free thinking little Aquarius heart had ever imagined. - stop swallowing to keep the peace, stop explaining away people’s disrespect and accepting less than you give. - Imbalanced relationships and friendships will drown you in bad times. Choose wisely and don’t let people off the hook, they know what they’re doing. ‼️ A special Thank you to @rjbenjamin for your kindness, general awesomeness and being the best vocal coach on the planet 🥰 You helped me get my ‘precious’ and confidence back & I’m so incredibly grateful 🙏🏻 And to my fav @sam.u.el for holding me down. I don’t know where I’d be without you ❤️‍🔥 To taking no more shit, to more love, more art, more singing, more joy, grown drama free people and good health. I’m coming for all of it this year.
