AN ICON RETURNS: How we're minimising waste and maximising use in our special Braidy Bag Re-Release ↓ Similar to our Annual Archive Event, our Braidy Bag Event is all about repurposing what we already have, in an effort to minimise our waste. To this end, all the colour options of the Braidy Bags available are made from archival leather offcuts, hides and hardware that's leftover from former seasons and sampling. We're also excited to announce that the black Braidy Bags on offer are made from second-grade deer nappa, which is reflected in the lower price. Why? In a nutshell, normally brands and consumers seek the premium grade leather we have in our core range, which is demarcated by its even finish. However, we firmly believe the second-grade leather is equally strong and buttery soft - the only difference is that it may have more scars and natural variation. Instead of seeing this go unused, we wanted to champion this leather in our special Braidy Event. Help us minimise waste and maximise use, and mark your calendars now.
