Y’all really out here giving back to Black women and girls, or just scrolling past? 🙃 Before you keep scrolling just because this is about donating and volunteering...let’s talk! 😂 The 2nd annual You Geaux Girl! Summit x @geauxgirlgiving_collective was a healing space with real conversations, real connections, and real impact. This wasn’t one of those women’s conferences where you leave feeling empty because the speakers only flexed their wealth and gave vague, unhelpful “advice.” Nah. This was about vulnerability, skill-sharing, and collaboration. It was truly rooted in the kind of love you usually only get from family. Y’all know I’m big on community. I truly believe we can’t sit around waiting for someone else to save us. Unfortunately, we have to do it ourselves. Especially when it comes to Black women and girls, who are the most underfunded and overlooked. But together, we’ve already raised over $80,000 for local organizations right here in New Orleans! @geauxgirlgiving_collective is a collective of 31 Black women closing the giving gap, empowering Black women, and mobilizing resources to create real, lasting change.
