Art show or mattress? I’m learning that the process of risking it all means more to me than the outcome. Maybe it’s the abundance of the unknown or the flowing thoughts of possible failures. Perhaps it’s the string of daydreams about making my passion become my career. And funny enough, at 27 years old, I’ve finally realized that I have lived most of my life like this. Taking risks and not knowing what will come of it. I guess, I find peace even in the most destructive thoughts - it’s reminds me of a puzzle. I recently went freelance. Ooffff that’s sometimes still is crazy for me to say. I have been able to learn, grow, fail, and face rejection right in the face - pleasantly. But what people don’t see is what comes with it. Yes, I am a freelance photographer and I am a PA, assistant, model, DIT, AD and whatever job title given to me get to be able to call myself a freelance photographer.
