📌SAVE FOR REFERENCE! 👢 Knee high vs calf boots styling tips: Being on the petite side (5’3”) I am careful with my proportions and like to maximize elongation on my legs. You can see the knee high boot along with the chunky sole helps to elongate my legs creating a longer visual line. It’s important to find a knee high boot that hits right under the knee and not in the middle (can happen if you are on the shorter side) For the calf height Chanel moto boot, this style is trickier to wear because it cuts my leg off at point that isn’t as flattering. My tips for styling these boots is to either wear with black leggings to create an elongated appearance (or whatever color matches your boot) or style with shorts/shorter skirt like I have so more leg is showing and then pair with something more covered on top like and oversized blazer to balance out the look. Other boots styles flattering on petites (or anyone who wants a more elongated appearance): Thigh high boots create an elongated leg appearance similar to that of wearing one color (these are something we haven’t seen trending in a few years but will be very popular this fall/winter) If opting to wear this style with shorts/skirt, again balance out the look with something more covered/oversized on top. Pointed toe boots visually create a longer look so even in flat versions. A platform or heel is also flattering to add height Avoid anything too fluffy/wide around the legs as this adds visual weight and a less lean appearance Most importantly wear what you feel great in!
