We have water tankers ready and available at Hemp Hill and in Rowdy. We have meals going out 3 times a day at Canes Kitchen in Whitesburg. @leeinitiative will continue to work in this community for as long as we can. Thank you to @appalachian.ky and @wckitchen for always providing aid and leadership in times of crisis. Kentucky has endured alot this year and I know that there are some who don't believe in this part of the world but what I saw yesterday in Eastern KY were resilient people full of strength and hope and charity helping each other with open arms. I met people who came from all over the region to work grueling hours to lend a hand. I saw people who had lost everything except their will to fight and persist. I saw love and support and a community that will endure. I saw a beautiful land full of spirited people and I could not be prouder of this state that is home to me. #KYStrong
