Around this time last year, we were preparing to launch the Dallas Catalyst Project in a new neighborhood – Mill City. @trecdallas members selected the neighborhood in an organization-wide vote following a year of vetting applications, neighborhoods, and projects vying to succeed the Forest District. In January, we commenced a multi-year, $1 million partnership with Mill City Community Association, @bohcdc, and @theurbanspecialists to: 🚧improve public safety 🏞️create safe spaces for residents of all ages 🏙️remediate outdated infrastructure 🏚️make homeownership more accessible 🍎feed a food desert Following some initial hurdles, we’ve been able to make considerable progress in Year 1.
