dream of a project for @airbnb last year, bringing the mojave desert to everyone staying at home. i painted the desert, @kyllandmusic recorded the sounds of it, and others on the team collected quotes from locals and combined it all into a “sounds of the world” feature on airbnb’s website. i’ll link it in my stories or search “sounds of the world mojave” to check out the whole thing. there’s also some gif versions of my illustrations there, animated by Simon Ainge. this was so fun to work on (very few jobs involve getting to go camping), thank you Ximena, Sadie, + Victoria for the chance!
