The love and affection between Kaitlyn and Doug feels like something that is a centuries old love that has been felt over and over again throughout the ages between the two of them. To be around them, one can feel how comfortable and easy their love is for one another, and it's just beautiful! Their wedding day was one filled with the most important people in their lives, bringing together families and creating a circle of love and support around them throughout the day. Some of the unique parts of their wedding day: -The Bride wore a stunning gold vintage styled dress. -The Groom put together a ceremony surprise for the Bride with their rings tied to his racecar steering wheel and the Groom's brother to help sell the "oops where are the rings" moment. -Their wedding cake was a design of half wedding cake, half stacked race car tires that even included the actual tread pattern from his own real tires. -The couple chose to have friends and family take photos of their day in lieu of a professional hired photographer. They set up a digital cloud for everyone to drop photos and videos into as a collective wedding gallery put together from the perspective of the guests. -The two biggest moments of the day were the couple's first dance on the dance floor and the opening of the balcony for guests that looks out onto Orleans Ave over the front entrance to the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. The entire event was a cherished moment in time for the couple, and for us at Pennywell Events, as we got to work alongside some of our favorite vendors and with one of our past brides as a vendor!
