The first part of any effort to combat bias is to admit to them. Anyway, she’ll need some help, and I suggested she read books like @kieselaymon’s Heavy and @mooredarnell’s No Ashes In The Fire—both of which articulate the damage that patriarchy and misogyny does to young men—for sufficient ammunition.
