Happy retirement day to this Senior Chief Petty Officer extraordinaire aka my hubby 😋 We’ve been anticipating this day ever since he opted to be my forever park buddy. So excited to close in the long distance gap! Third generation of the US Navy in his family, he spent nearly 21 years in the Navy (and deployed overseas for the most part, including Malaysia #meanttobe). I couldn’t be more proud of what he has accomplished through the decades and against all odds ⚓️🌊 I also couldn’t have asked for a better life partner. Not only that I’m now set for life on my annual America the Beautiful park pass (for veterans), I also happened to marry my retirement plan 🤣 Jokes aside, I’m so grateful that he’s mine. We’re basically were made for each other. So similar yet so different. Enneagram 1 and 8 here so it’s all about following and upholding the rules/fairness 😂 Both engineers, both leaders.
