🇬🇭*****BLACK STARdom ******🇬🇭 ——- SWIPE ——- Last week I connected with colleagues working in policy, politics, law, medicine, business. and more, and celebrated our culture and fact we are very proud Ghanaian people! In our “personal” capacities my colleagues and I accepted awards honoring our work and commitment to improving this country, while also remembering the one we come from. Some have (foolishly) tried to define my identity for me — suggesting you’re not African, you’re an African-American. Others—you’re not a -wait for it- “foundational” Black, you’re African... I was born a Black Star, I am a Black Star, and I will always BE a Black Star.
