Motherhood is everything, somehow all at once: familiar, uncharted, scary, silly, overwhelming tiredness, overwhelming love, learning new things about yourself and this little person who’s entered your life, unlearning things you don’t want to pass on to them; it’s lonely, and it’s feeling like you’ll never get a moment to yourself again. Time suddenly moves faster, and then there’s those moments where it seems to stand still, and you just look at your baby like, “how are you so perfect?”
