Can I be honest? It used to really bother me hearing things like “The Lord has been so good to me” or “I’m so blessed” in reference to God’s faithfulness in answering prayers. I couldn’t help but focus on the people who are waiting, longing, hurting, praying, and wishing for answers. I often thought of the times I’ve pleaded and prayed for a specific outcome, only to receive a “no.” Does God really pick and choose who gets more blessings than others? But on the flip side, I do recognize the blessings that surround me. God has been pressing something deep into my heart—that His faithfulness far exceeds the “answers” I’ve received. It’s a constant knowing that I am seen, loved, and cared for, regardless of the circumstances. With everything or nothing, He is good, and He has good plans for us. It doesn’t always look like what we’d expect, and the more time passes, the more I realize that might just be the best part of it all. 🤍 I never really know what to share on here anymore when it comes to captions, but this morning, I felt led to drop a little encouragement. You are seen, loved, and heard exactly where you’ve been, where you are, and every place you will one day be. Remember, no matter your highest or lowest moments, the Lord is a constant friend.
