Opening on September 30 at ICP, "Death in the Making” will focus on Robert Capa's iconic 1938 photobook on the Spanish Civil War. Capa worked extensively as a photojournalist in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s and was called "the greatest war photographer in the world" by Picture Post in 1938. This exhibition, which also features work by Gerda Taro and David “Chim” Seymour, represents the first in a series of shows revisiting ICP's permanent collection and celebrating ICP’s history. Curated by Cynthia Young.
Find more info and reserve tickets to this exhibition, or to our current show, "William Klein: YES," through the link in bio.
