This is the 1st US Open I have missed since I got my PGA tour card and I’m not gonna lie, it stings a little, BUT it gave me the opportunity to see one of my kids compete in the sport they are passionate about. My middle son, Wyatt, has taken karate for 8 years and goes to competitions with his team from @thebrickssi all over the country. This weekend I got to watch him compete @battleofatl. He took 2nd in his traditional forms division...recovering from the flu, maybe I can take a little credit for his grit, but it’s probably from his mom! It really is fun getting to spend time learning an entirely different sport and watching my kid do what he loves. He got to meet some of the people he looks up to as well, @official_kaelynkowalski @benjones0802 and @jacksonrudolph1 thanks for taking time out for my son today, meant a lot. And a quick shout out to my wife @kimalajohnson for rocking the karate mom gig...she’s already mastered Golf Wife.
