Here are 2 ways that you could get started today, even without knowing how to invest: 🤖 Robo advisors: have you heard of Ellevest or Betterment or Wealthfront? These all are robo advisors that will invest your money for you with little to no cost. M1 finance is the only free one I know of (and use) but these options will get you started immediately, while you do some learning of your own. 🎯target date funds: likely if you have a 401k or a TSP or a 403b, you are already investing in a target date fund! These funds are ready made portfolios that you can easily pick by choosing the fund that is closest to the date you want to retire. For example, if you’re trying to retire in 2050, vanguard has a 2050 target date fund filled with stocks and bonds that will automatically adjust for you the closer you get to your target date.
