At 6 weeks old, Waylon was the victim of a non-accidental traumatic brain injury and became a survivor of abuse. As a result, he has been diagnosed with extensive brain damage, blindness, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and severe developmental delays. While the criminal justice system is working hard, addressing how it happened, as Waylon’s mom, all my energy is focused on his healing and happiness.
