It's the last day of pride month; it's been surreal for me because I've been feeling so personally happy and inspired lately despite all the attacks on women and LGBTQ people from the government. I've known I was queer for a long time now, and like most, this month for me can be a powerful time of self reflection - both good and bad. I am happier today than I've ever been in my life. Even through the rough times this month, I've felt good - because I feel like I can be my full authentic self, and I'm experiencing the real joys in life I've worked so hard to have. Our joy as queer people is important, it is not frivolous, it is revolutionary. 🌈
