Our lives are always speaking to us. Life gives us clues to things that are meant for us through energising and lighting us up. If you haven’t come across that feeling yet - that’s ok. Instead, follow your curiosity. Curiosity is an incredible emotion. It bridges gaps in communication. It opens us to exploring new frontiers and ideas. It connects us where certainty can not. Curiosity opens the door to new and exciting adventures. New possibilities. Follow your curiosity and see where it leads. Like a crumb on the road, each curiosity will lead to the next. If we can just focus on picking up each one along the way and giving it our attention, before long we will find ourselves at a destination we could not have even dreamed of. Life has a funny way of working out when we give ourselves permission to focus on the present moment and situation. Especially if we can trust our hunches without intellectualising them or shutting them down too early. Theres been a lot of times in my life where I’ve had a hunch or curiosity to reach out to someone, to pick up a new hobby or even take a different route to work. So often, I’ve reasoned myself out of them. Thats ridiculous - or weird. I don’t have time for that. etc. Its as if life was knocking at the door and I was sitting on the couch watching TV, pretending not to hear. The known and predictable world much safer than inviting in the new. But the new is where life lives. The new is where the opportunities that you’ve been asking for are. The new is limitless possibilities. Trust yourself. Trust your hunches, your curiosity & your intuition. Your life is always speaking to you — are you listening?
