So grateful for your words, your gift to capture moments, but more so for the friendship! ❤️❤️❤️ - - Posted @withregram • @w_wittmannphoto “Flex” - I wanted to wait to type this up until I was able to take this photo 📸 So if you have been around a few months, you remember me starting my series of headshots of the icons of this industry and few rival this young man I have commonly stated that if you disregard nostalgia, we are in the best era of bodybuilding as far as an industry of all time. Between the coverage of shows, the ability to bond, etc. this industry has grown in a way that’s hard to fathom One of the catalysts to this era was a man that in my opinion is only rivaled by @jaycutler in terms of being the greatest ambassador in the history of bodybuilding I met Flex 8 years ago when I still thought I was a bodybuilder. Now plenty of us have known someone 8 years and many much longer, however what makes it special in this situation is the fact that @flex_lewis is the exact same kind heart that I met as a 21 year old kid. He’s seen the whole journey firsthand; from me competing at his show, to my first major credential at Olympia 2019(2nd photo) to today(3rd photo) where I am at the peak of my own mountain. What makes Flex so exceptional isn’t his stage persona, it’s the way he loves his wife, the way he cannonballs into the pool with his daughter, and the way that he makes a completely unknown person feel like the king of the world I’ve often said that money and success doesn’t change you, simply exposes you. Flex bares his heart in every single endeavor he has whether it be business, personal, or simply life pursuits and has never folded. One of the most incredible moments of NPC USA weekend in Vegas was getting to look into his eyes and tell him that I’m not proud of Flex Lewis, but of James Lewis. Flex is a great bodybuilder, James is a great human being and one I’m beyond honored to see succeed continuously This world will never understand what it has with you....but I do! Here’s to happiness, to love, and to future! ❤️
