13 years later my cheer career has come to an end. This sport has taught me plenty of life skills whether things are going exactly how you want or the complete opposite. The connections this sport has given me are unforgettable. To my coaches, thank you for helping me become the best athlete and student I could be. Thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t. The progress I have made through these years would not have been possible without you. Especially you Coach Andre, thank you for pushing me further because you knew I was capable when I didn’t. To my friends and family, thank you for supporting me through each season and always being there to motivate me however you could. Your support always helped motivate me to give my all at each competition and performance. To my teammates, I am going to miss all of you with my whole heart. I can not believe what we have accomplished this season and I wouldn’t want to make history with anyone else. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Lastly, to the only person I knew coming into the lakes cheer program. Thank you Ari for always motivating me and encouraging me when I needed it most. I cant believe we started cheering together 13 years ago on the same team and ended up on that mat together for our very last competition. I will never forget the memories we have made together. Sadly, all good things have to come to an end. Goodbye Cheerleading and Thank you for everything. ❤️💙
