find your way to me
there is a force called
us
without one or another
a void
like energy it circles
back always
so i await your return
your arrival
the intricate power that is
11:11 or GG
or BB or a sideways number 8
the pathway of us
the orbit of our eternity

Poem: find your way to me by Féi Hernandez was originally written for a transit rider during a live poetry event and installation in December 2021 at Union Station, presented in collaboration with @poetry_society
Artwork: Engraved in Memory by @printgonzalez at La Cienega/Jefferson Station, porcelain enamel steel artwork. The artwork depicts the land memory and history of the area surrounding Ballona Creek in Culver City as a progression of time: the homes of indigenous Tongva people, the division of land into rancherias during the Californio period, clay adobe homes replaced by brick and wood structures, the oil and film industries, the landmark buildings and homes and businesses as they appear today.
