Joy is a choice! - “Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials” James 1:2 I have always considered myself a naturally joyful person. But I have found that true joy, the joy that provides me with an inexplainable peace, comes from the Lord. This is a joy that circumstances cannot take away from you. It is stronger than the simplicity of a happy feeling. This type of joy is available to us all through Christ. But whether or not you want it is a choice.
