I have slaved away trying to abide by the Instagram “rules” for getting the most engagement / reach / followers (whatever it is you’re looking for on this platform) and it’s taken me 8 years to realise that it’s not worth stressing over! Is the salon busy? Yes. Do we have a good reputation? Yes. Do the people who see our posts think they are on brand? Yes. And these are the only things I care about!
