Architectural Series (3/6) "While visiting the site numerous times we spent the majority of our time gravitating towards the low slung rock formation that the pool now envelops. This mysterious, sculptural rock formation naturally became the heart or center of the resort. The pool was inspired by a variety of collective experiences, including many spring hikes as a teenager to the canyons of Utah evoking those magical spring rains collecting in stone formations and depressions in the undulating landscape of rock. It was consciously reduced to the elemental purity of water, rock and sky from which it derives its powerful energetic pull as the center of the resort."
