Being part of this team was meaningful to me for many reasons. Trekking 130 miles from the City of Portland to the Oregon Coast with #TeamGrant gave me an incredible opportunity to witness the diversity, resilience, humility, grit and determination those living with Parkinson’s personify in everything they do. It reminded me of those same traits my father embodied and displayed throughout his battle with the disease.
