WOW. Somehow this book was not at all what I was expecting but ended up being better for it. This is a book that’s telling quite a few stories in one narrative and they all tie together so beautifully and it WORKS. A true genre blended with historical fiction, time travel, romance, lit fic style character deep dives, and a splash of thrill.
