Today marks 8 years since my Dad died. Every year that goes by I feel closer and further away from him at the same time. He is with me everyday, we have found our new way to communicate and I know he’s there. But every year that goes by, is another year of life without him. As if the more time that goes on somehow means it’s less significant(I know it’s not) and that’s still the hardest part 🤍
