Hard to believe this was 2 years ago. I wrote and produced this song in my apartment before @natlezrafilm reached out and we got to make this incredible video. I listen to WWWK on occasion. It feels like such a beginning. Before I really felt like a producer. Before we had a studio space — and a journey of unexpected, yet necessary movement it continues to be. I’ve written songs since 6th grade and have had so many musical experiences I can’t count. The waves this job entails sometimes makes you question your value. The right road. Your capacity. “Your purpose.” I’ve been working on my first collection of songs, including an alternate version of this, for yeears — am I losing time? Am I digging more into the depths of these records or stuck on a loop? I get asked “when is the album coming??” and answer “soon.” Time will tell Honestly just happy to have music out that I can listen to and connect with — and I’m happy knowing there are people really listening.
