No child should be worrying about cycling to school because of London’s toxic, polluted air. This 7-year-old Londoner wrote to me to ask what I’m doing to improve air pollution that they’ve seen in their air filter. What did I write back? ➡️ I told them about how their home is now within the ULEZ which is already improving air pollution levels. ➡️ How we’re working to upgrade London’s older buses to zero-emissions buses and helping Londoners upgrade to cleaner cars. ➡️ Most importantly I thanked them for writing to me and urged them to keep on writing to politicians and decision makers.
