our final dates of 2022 are coming up fast! it’s going to be a fun one! our good pals will be along for the ride: @gguullffeerr , @sinaivessel , @whybonnie , & @poise_band . another thing contributing to the overall goodness of our presentation will be our nightly approach to the set. it will be more varied than ever, with old & new & brand spanking new. & hey — i guess if there’s something you really wanna hear, let us know! as with the government, the outcome will ultimately be decided by a small handful of people in a back room but it’s fun to see what the people want. one other exciting element we've arranged for is a ticketed live stream for both chicago shows. @thaliahallchicago is a stellar venue so it should be a strong (re)presentation of what we're up to as a band — & as it happens, it may be the last chance to see us play in this format for a little while. yes, this run of shows will be the last we'll be able to play this year. as such, we wanted to do something special for anyone who hasn't been able to catch us since 11:11's come out. & don’t worry if the live time of the show doesn’t work for you, the shows will be up for 48 hours afterwards so you can watch at your absolute leisure. we’re going to make sure to play some different songs at each one so hey, catch both, why not? tickets up at pinegroveband.com we know the folks who had tickets for the shows in denver, kansas & texas were pretty bummed that we were not able to reschedule. anyone who had a ticket for those shows, can email [email protected] with a receipt of your original ticket & you can get a free code for either or both of the live streams. we wish we could have made it back — unfortunately, all our dates for the summer had long been in place (just had not yet been announced) & otherwise have family commitments & other projects already scheduled in the remaining months of 2022. so we figured rather than have ticket companies sit on your money for months without us knowing when we get there, we made the decision to cancel so we could refund you. it's sad & yet another unfortunate artifact of the pandemic. here's to more stability for us all in 2023! much love pg
