Why does this make me so emotional 😭 My Mom captured this moment + I just had to share! Kids don’t really care about toys - they care about you! Sometimes I get so busy I just go through the motions of parenting or I play for a bit but then get distracted by something I need to do or I’m playing but I’m thinking about what I’m going to cook for dinner. I’m pushing myself to get better about ‘intentional playtime’ where I get fully into whatever he’s into and just play on his level. This small gesture of gratitude from Mavi just completely melted my heart ❤️
