The Reel, 2022. My first season on staff was nothing short of a fantastic learning experience. I don’t typically share things on this page such as this, but I want to take this time to do so because no one is perfect, nor happy all the time. For the past couple months, I had lost the same passion and motivation for the work that I once had been so joyful to do. I quickly started to run through the motions, just completing my creative projects to get them done, without much unique thought or care put into them. I actually thought about quitting to pursue something else entirely different at some points. Throughout this fall semester, I was forced to look within myself not just through football, but through my personal experiences as well. It forced me to take a step back, and remember why I picked up a camera in the first place. This reel is more to me than just a compilation of clips I’ve shot this fall. It’s a reminder to me that I’ve been blessed to be in the position that I’m in, and a reigniting of inspiration and passion that I have for this line of work.
