We’d love to ask all of you that have been touched by the video to support our project by voting 🤞🏼 The seed for the film was planted when we read the words of #CamilleRainville which spoke to us on a deep level. We wanted to combine her relevant message with our vision of the empowered woman. This was our way of bringing the message to a wider audience and starting a debate on the nature of feminism. We filmed parts between our photoshoots over the past 18 months. An important part of this project which often goes unspoken is that we are an independent self funded enterprise. The film grew organically and with Cynthia Nixon‘s support by lending us her voice and image, we were able to create something powerful. We never imagined it would go so far. It’s been seen by millions of people worldwide and discussed and referenced by so many of you. It has been amazing to see how much the message has resonated, and to hear all the reactions from people who have been moved. It is still shared every day showing that the debate about feminism is far from over. If “Be A Lady” could win the Webby Award it would be a validation of the need for this conversation and would extend its reach to even more people.
