An Orbs Trip to The Whitney On Orb’s day off, his interest draws him to The Whitney Museum of American Art. He takes the A express train to 14th St/8th Ave. A curious but cautious one, he turns down his brightness as he quietly trespasses onto museum property. Taking out the security cameras aimed to expose his appearance, his at-first eerie disposition creates worry among Whitney staff when finding the footage the following morning. Upon further review of hidden cameras overlooked by Orb, he’s caught playing among Takako Yamaguchi’s “Catalyst”, an abstract take on naturalism art, and jovially playing piano on Nikita Gales “TEMPO RUBATO (STOLEN TIME)”, an ode to the mechanics that humans play part in the creation of music. Orb’s light begins overtaking each exhibit as his joy and fun increase, filling the museum from the inside out.
