Tuesday saw the showcase of @shabakahutchings' new label @nativerebelrec. It was first outing of Kofi Flexxx, an ensemble led and conducted by Shabaka Hutchings which bought an energic and excitingly fresh performance. There were also impressive sets from Jazz FM breakthrough act of the year @chelsea__carmichael, the calm, cool and collected @conkwake and a triumphant close from @tbmomusic.
