We all need to do our part by minimizing our own household waste but if we don’t put pressure on the powers that be we will never see our culture embrace alternative waste management practices. Because the reality is that landfilling garbage makes money for the Town of Brookhaven at the expense of the health of the local ecosystem and community members. Be a good citizen.
