Happy birthday to my gorgeous friend of 30+ years, @juliaspowellart! I don’t have to explain the value of a person who has known you for so long. But to have an old friend who continues to grow with you as you get older... and makes sure that you’re getting wiser and better too? That’s the best! It’s a special friend who can say to you “i love you, but I think you’re wrong.” Jules is a brilliant painter and single mom, the smartest girl from my high school AND middle school, explains soccer to me, and my only complaint about her is that she lives 3000 miles away. Not cool. I love you anyway Jules!
