Colostrum Collection 💧 Colostrum is your “first” milk. It’s what your body produces before your breastmilk “comes in.” It is very nutrient-dense! So much so that your newborn only needs 30 mLs of it for their ENTIRE first day of life. What’s even more cool is you can often start to collect it prior to giving birth (with clearance from your doctor and typically only after 37 weeks, as it can induce labor.)
