When I co-costume designed the Oscars, in 2013 & 2014, with the amazing Julie Weiss (Oscar nom. For Frida). We set up a costume shop in LA and spent a couple of weeks designing, building, shopping, and creating looks for all the big numbers: opening dance with Daniel Radcliffe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Charlize Theron, Channing Tatum, Chicago tribute with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Les Mis, film student presenters and much, much more. It was a fascinating, incredible experience and as much as it was often daunting and overwhelming it was amazing fun. Many thanks to #RobAshford for the extraordinary opportunity.
