Let’s kick off the wedding series with my first event in Chicago - the Mayon ✨ Brides traditionally wear yellow for this event and it’s the Pakistani version of a bridal shower. I got my mehndi done by the talented Sharmeen which took 6 hours and turned out beautifully. This is often where you see brides get covered in a yellow turmeric paste to give their skin a glow, but I got a hydrafacial instead to keep things less messy 😂 My mom decorated the whole house with yellow flowers and accents, and all my family and friends wore yellow as well. ☀️ The last clip is when my husband was feeding me while we were brainstorming which entrance songs we would use for each event.
