Corinthians 12:13 - My faith with Jesus Christ has been a long road. I was baptized after birth, and practically grew up in the church. The older that I have gotten, the closer I have been pulled to God and the more I have been drawn to Him and experienced His love. If you know me, you know that it has not always been the best relationship, but in this past year I have grown a relationship with Jesus Christ that is by far the strongest it has ever been in my lifetime. I have never felt so close to God and been more understanding of Him and His word. That being said, I wanted to go forward and take the next step in my faith to publicly surrender myself to Christ through baptism. I chose to get baptized again because where and who I am now vs. when I was just months old is an entirely different person; doing it this way I had a choice to lay down my life for Him and I am so beyond thankful for the ways He has grown and changed me. I am so blessed for the love and support I had around me on this special day. 🙏🏻
